Chuck grew up in Gwinnett County, graduating from Greater Atlanta Christian School, the University of Georgia, and Mercer Law School. He launched his legal career as a Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted felony offenses, conducted jury trials in major felony cases, wrote appeals, prosecuted juvenile offenders, and trained police officers about the law. 
 
Since beginning work in private practice, Chuck has worked extensively in divorce, child custody, child support, contempt of court, and criminal defense. He considers it a privilege to serve clients in the metro-Atlanta area and other parts of the State of Georgia. 

Now proud to sit at the helm of his own private practice, Chuck is a former president of the Gwinnett County Bar Association and a former commissioner on the Judicial Nominating Commission. He also currently holds the title of State Representative, a role he has been honored to play since 2013. As State Representative Efstration, he has served as Chairman of every judiciary committee and currently holds the position of Majority Leader.
